Summer Party in an Iconic Venue

We are in the Summer Party season at the moment. Last week we were involved in a party at one of our favourite venues: the Knot Garden at Hatfield House.

Harpist at Hatfield House

This is such a stunning venue, and I can’t help but speculate who might have walked round these fragrant gardens in years gone past: the Princess Elizabeth? Henry VIII? Even Anne Boleyn.

The event was for a corporate client, who was hosting a Summer Party for its employees. The theme was “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and it really did live up to the theme!

As guests arrived, they were served Pimms and were  invited to walk through the Medieval Old Palace to the Knot garden, where our fabulous harpist was playing background music. The gardens were fragrant in the early evening sunshine.

Guests had the option of playing some outdoor games with another company. BUT the most popular entertainment (after the harpist) was our two lovely face painters, who decorated the faces, decolletage, arms and even legs of some of the female guests.

This was an effective icebreaker for individuals working in different departments.

As you can see, the face decorating was stunning! We are always delighted to discuss your event and how we could make it truly memorable for your guests.

I had to smile when I saw this image; the decorated leg looked stunning!

Our two gorgeous face painters for the night. They were enjoying the company of the guests as well as working in such a stunning location. This sort of entertainment and experience is a perfect ice breaker and appeals to guests of every age!
