1930s Live Music and Dance

Themed Events

With the 1930s Vintage scene being so popular, why not design a 1930s event with dance, fashion and music from the era?

Our gorgeous musicians perform songs and music from the sophisticated 1930s, where Ivor Novello and Noel Coward reigned supreme. Our wonderful dancers will teach and lead the dancing for your very own “Dancing Years”. Whether you are looking for featured entertainment, mood music or ideas, we have a range of entertainment options to suit your event.

1930s Novello themed event

Our performers were at the London Olympics, performing beautiful Novello music for international guests.

This was a classic era for glamour, bands and dancing. We have arranged a number of 1930s themed events, including the Olympic Event above, and also A Cunard 175 Anniversary event. Theming is the key, and having a band who genuinely understand the music – and play the music from that era makes it truly special for guests.

We are aware that guests might not wish to dance to 1930s music, so as an option, our musicians could do one set of 1930s music and later set of more contemporary dance music.

Swing band

Of course the era wasn’t just Novello and Coward: jazz played a great part. This was when Cole Porter and Ira Gershwin composed some of their most famous songs. We could provide a jazz band and teach your guests simple dances from the era: the Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing and Jitterbug were particularly popular.
